OUR STORY

In the vibrant heart of Orlando, Florida, Dave and Kirsten became engaged in 1990 and returned "home" 35 years later. Dave, who was raised in California, and Kirsten, from New Jersey, have shared a remarkable journey. Their musical paths intertwined when they united in marriage, forming not only a partnership in life but also a powerful alliance in ministry.

With a rich history of experience, both have been passionately involved in television and music ministries since the 1980s. Dave, an accomplished musician, studied at Azusa Pacific University in California. He gained acclaim as the lead vocalist for the Gospel group TRUTH, whose moving anthem “Jesus Never Fails” earned them a revered spot in the Gospel Music Association’s Hall of Fame. His talent further shone as the vocal director for The Richard Roberts TV Singers, and also The Voices of Liberty at Walt Disney World, where his spirited leadership brought joy to countless visitors. Kirsten lent her voice to the soulful harmonies of Grammy-winning singer Larnelle Harris in his backup group, Friends. She also traveled with the inspiring USO tour group Re-Creation, Eternity, and captivated audiences with The Spurrlows.

Before going to Florida, they called the vibrant town of Branson, Missouri, home. There, they graced the stage in the dazzling productions of renowned performer Dino Kartsonakis. Dave’s powerful voice also filled theaters as he sang in the joyous Branson show, "Oh Happy Day."

In 2016, they embarked on an exciting journey as co-hosts of the beloved television program "Zola Levitt Presents," where they share insightful teachings and explore rich biblical topics. Their passion for enriching the viewer's experience also led them to guide immersive tours to the historically and spiritually significant locations of Greece and Israel, all organized under the esteemed Zola Tours. These tours not only serve as an extension of their roles within Zola Levitt Ministries but also allow them to connect with travelers on a deeper level, sharing their knowledge and love for the biblical history and landscapes of these remarkable destinations.

Together, they are proud parents to two adult sons. Tyler, after honorably serving in the U.S. Army, married Kari in 2013, embarking on a new chapter of family life. Meanwhile, Ryan’s adventures took him to Israel, where he thrived as a video production specialist with the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem before returning to his roots in the U.S. and marrying his bride, Bekah. They are also proud grandparents to Landen, Bella, and Ty Hart!

At 41, I was suddenly directed to the Adoption Registry Office. Adoption? I thought I knew my story. OUR JEWISH ROOTS TV SHOW

In 2016, Dave and Kirsten embarked on a remarkable journey as co-hosts of the television program Zola Levitt Presents. Filming the studio segments in Dallas, Texas, while featuring the breathtaking landscapes of Israel, the Harts brought this weekly international series to life, captivating audiences on TBN, The Daystar Network, and countless networks and global affiliates. In a significant transformation, the show was rebranded in 2019 as Our Jewish Roots.

Though the Harts aren't Jewish themselves, they embody the spirit of believers who deeply appreciate the profound significance of a Jewish Savior and the rich Jewish heritage that forms the foundation of Christianity. Drawing inspiration from Zola Levitt's extensive musical repertoire, they infused each episode with soul-stirring musical pieces, many of which were filmed against the stunning vistas of the Holy Land, creating a powerful connection to the faith and history they present.
